Through the course of the night there has been no change in Will's heart function. It continues to have some electrical charge but essentially is not pumping on its own. Will is still on ECMO, and the amount of tubes and lines going in and out to make his blood and oxygen run properly through his body is overwhelming. It is a blessing to have a machine like this that provides us time to see of his new heart will start working. At this time we are also waiting to see if UNOS (the org that manages organ transplant allocations) will relist Will for a new heart. This is a hard decision for them. They have to make a decision whether Will should get another heart or if it should go to so to someone else. Will's body is not as strong as it was two days ago but all things are still working well. Please pray that God will give us direction. That He will show us how to act in a way that honors Him. For Him to replace the desires of our hearts with His desires.
